William and Kate: they harvest more than one million euros for associations

To celebrate their marriage, Prince William and Kate had refused to receive wedding gifts. They had instead asked their guests to make donations to several charities chosen by them. In total, over one million euros have been raised!

April 29 was the best day in the life of William and Kate. While the bride and groom usually receive a mountain of gifts, often of dubious taste, from their guests, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge refused to be spoiled by their families when so many people suffer in UK and worldwide.
Lovers have asked their guests to make donations to various organizations including several foundations for children, aid funds or personnel to military families, but also emergency services.

In total, announced a spokesman for the couple, it was 1,058,367 pounds (or 1.12 million euros, ie) that have been collected for a twenty associations. And that's not all! Proceeds from the sale of the album's musical marriage and photographs taken by Mario Testino were also made to these charities. The newlyweds, who are about to fly to Canada before a detour to California, could not imagine a more beautiful wedding!
